Born from the sun – from the typical scorching Apulian summer heat – the label of Calùra Appassimento by Giustini expresses the landscape, climate, and emotions evoked by the passage of summer days among the vineyards of Apulia.

Calùra is a wine made from grapes left to dry naturally on the vine for 15–20 days, thanks to the cutting of the peduncle that stops the flow of sap.

During Apulia’s sweltering summers, the hot, rarefied air – the very calura – intensifies the Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Susumaniello grapes. Together, in blend, they impart a distinctive bouquet and unique flavor profile to the wine.

All of this is captured in a label with a deep purple hue, elevated by gold detailing used to depict both the sun and the wine’s name.
